neat little flash, an enjoyable view :-)

hehe, i like it! pretty neat first flash i must say... nice to see it fit in with the theme and spirit of christmas :-) this flash has nice duration and length, good stuff.. it's an appealing view, and most enjoyable.. i like the effort you put in your sound effects, they were great! i like your simple drawings too, they were sufficient looking, but most people didn't think so, like when the guy is sitting in the room with the fire place - that was well drawn, i think it's your style, but anyway... looking forward to see you develop as a flash author, just need a little work with the smoothness and flow of your animations and movements, need to incorporate some motion tweening and perhaps additional frames... it's a great comical storyline too hehe funny stuff haha, loved it all the way through// nice work, good job!

awesome musical and camera angle transitions

awesome background music featured in this flash piece.. it brought a lot of atmosphere, excitement and anticipation! like that 'click, click, boom'... song like wow..haha and the mortal kombat moosik was great and funny .. heh you did a great job in compressing all the music, action, and length into 860KB ! nice economical file size.. good job on drawing strawberry clock and his angry face.. the drawings are good overall - and the blood visuals heh,.. nicely timed sound effects.. and strawberry's shotgun was complete pwnage! heh// also like the variety of different camera scene shots and angles you incorporated.. ooh and before i forget, i'd like to mention the storyline.. haha the introductory plot was funny and different.. banned from the forums. genious nice parody! great job, great work.. are you going to make a sequal ? looking forward to it if you do.. ;-)

needs more eye candy.. but a nice flash piece

ya' in summary to most of everyone that have mentioned in their reviews.. needs more eye candy.. visuals, animation, movement, motion... maybe a background..anything!!1 but i guess if you're animating a prank call it's hard to think of stuff up... also, needs more variety of frames of his mouth moving to improve the lip sync-ing... if that makes sense ? not just an open and closed red oval, but it was sync'd okay i guess... but the drawings were nice, like the style and how the colour was applied.. hehe the speech audio was funny overall, although a pretty dangerous prank call if you ask me.. i mean, think of the scenario - what if his wife hanged up in the middle of that phone call and got out a baseball bat before that guy had any time to inform the wife that it was a prank... like ouch, majow ownage.. nice twist of irony at the end - good job nice work :-)

that has to be the smartest review i have ever read well done. i agree with everything there snd yes i will make it better. E.G show the wife and cut from scene to scene. thankyou for the review

a fun flash, brought a smile to my face

hehe... what a funny short! it's good to see some fresh classic humour content without violence. I like the whole style with the simple moving coloured border you have seemed to incorporated, suits the presentation nicely... the background looks great! looks very smooth, and professional! loved the happy, comical-style background music.. brought a sense of fun atmosphere to the whole short clip overall... the animation seemed to jump a bit at times, but i guess that's the style you were going for... just simple, and plus i bet it reduced the file size to a very economical 87.6K you have now... good job, nice work

awesome, polished flash - nice visuals!

first of all... nicely sized flash frame you used.. pretty big hehe! i love your black, and white cartoon sketch style - it suits you and your work, and plus you seem to be very good at it... stick with the style you feel most comfortable with, and if it's without colour then so be it.. plus, it would probably save you time i imagine.. the camera angles you presented, were great! gave a real birds-eye view of the perspective of what each character was experiencing, great job on that! love the visuals that were featured also, you draw visuals very good - it looks professional and a polished piece of work... example: with the running animation and the smoke, and blazing fire etc... your sound elements and effects are timed critically and well, good job on that.. Nice remake of a favourite fable, choice selection there.. i like the twist of humour at the end hehe funny & unexpected.. look forward to seeing your next flash project, perhaps you can make a series ? great job, awesome work

great matrix spoof

nice introductory matrix coding and moosik you presented ;-) made it exciting, and provoked a sense of anticipation... and the background music fit well with the action scenes, nice upbeat tempo/... choice selection indeed.. i have no idea what UO is, never played it but i'm assuming it's where you aquired your sprites... well the sprite animation.. the battle scenes were great, and overall quality was good.. i liked the opening blow 'Neo' gave to that guy... it sync'd so well with the sound effects, and the slow motion that you incorporated.. maybe in the sequal the background could be more .. appealing, and not so blank - just an idea... also, i was surprised you didn't actually use the recording of 'Hello.. Mr Anderson', instead it was just text. The battle between 'Neo' and that green dude ended pretty quickly with just one punch to the stomach, then he screamed like a gorilla, rather confusing scene indeed.. like wtf.. ahh, but neway good job overall, nice flash.. look forward to the next installment :-)

haha at the recording..

hehe nice lookin' intro. where the preloader is supposed to be... yea the backgrounds were great eye candy... i liked how you applied the shades of the teal coloured structures.. hehe i also liked the addition of that red 'BAIL' text in the top left hand corner , nice visuals with the blood work, and when they fell over.. it worked well with the nicely timed skate sound effects.. i like the depth and length of their conversations too - it was well worth it's small economical file size hehe.. it's a shame about drake and doug though <3 haha but it was some funny material..yea and the recording at the end was a great bonus... hilarious. Are you gonna' make a sequal about his escape ? good stuff, great job mann :-)

WOW.... Thanks!

are all your reviews like this? :)

very inventive and creative - good work!

nice funky music, it was melodic and 'catchy' - kept me interested, an appealing view... i like your drawing style, and the way you applied and blended the colours.. the visuals were very polished, and the shades of colours featured in the background made great eye candy... in a trippy sort of sense... nice abstract thoughts and views you represent in this flash, perhaps a satirical point of view of the gradual manifestation and manipulation of technology that has engulfed culture, and modern life... hehe i like the twist of irony at the end with the cast of the characters...and the mum haha funny stuff, also like the whole chip-set idea... very inventive, good work! great flash

it's an alright piece...

not quite as interesting as your last submission - the only thing i guess, was when the clay dude was waving at the camera, but apart from that... ya' ... didn't really have any significant meaning, well from what i interpreted, although i could be wrong... from what i gather, it was just a short, maybe a creation out of boredom... the animation and work in it is still good though.. stick to a theme perhaps, either make it funny or scary... this was on the borderline, mysterious and confusing.. good work still

a lot of style and flair, nice smooth animation

wow... morbid stuff there. Like you put in your author's comments, the monotone projector sound effect loop rolling in the background seemed to somewhat create an aura of negativity and eerieness to it... uncertainty, despair.. which i think was the approach you were going for - good job on that! hehe... you even applied the monotone style to the pre-loader, which was a smart thing to do - nice editing with the NG logo.. i couldn't hear the sound effects you mentioned in your authors comments... ? bleh maybe i'm not listening hard enough, but maybe you could enhance a sound effect of the clay guy in his desperate struggle with himself.. and have a sound effect when he is rolling on the floor.. that would be the best approach me thinks. The animation is good, i like it for what it is and shows... but i also like it for what it represents.. nice flash, great job!
