[Drawing Zombietown]

Strengths: the style & demonstration of 3D points of view was very appealing to me. The 'construction' music was great too,.. from FF? nice. The red lines featured were a nice addition - how they represented erasement. It seems that 3D works may be appreciated more from ur educational submission hehe.. the colour was pretty good too with the simple zombie drawings - lookd polished

Weaknesses: you let the 'psycho' audio cut a bit short.. ya' know the dumm dumm... dumm dum... (end bit). The illustrations of the earth was stylish, but abit rushed as well. Other than that, no complaints at all generally- well done, neat project

I apologize for the cut on the shower scene music, it was the ONLY version of that song I could find on the 'net. I'm kind of unhappy about it too. =[

[Lost Soul - Teaser]

Strengths: the introductory music did a nice job - gave this submission purposeful direction. The colour + drawings resembled those portrait pieces you see in fancy art galleries & exhibition.. didn't give a way too little & at the same time didn't give too much, the sequence of events were just right.

Weaknesses: there was a very large gap of nothingness when it came to the main character staring at his Mrs.. a little too long. Sound effects would have made the viewing audience more involved with the story, although it is just a sneak trailer. Looking forward to more tweening & smooth character movements in your later flash release - goodwork

[mIRC Primer]

good orientation

Strengths: nice introductory orientation to mIRC - the sequence of help screens was logical & well ordered. The screenshots & pictures of the mIRC user interface were helpful as well, and will probably help viewers understand your primer & featured content. Most explanations are also concise & straight to the point. Finally, the simple user commands you made available were quite useful.

Weaknesses: the use of more colour would greatly enhance ur presentation - perhaps distinguishing main headings from content material. A graphically rich background would be beneficial as well - but of course not one of those Megabyte expending fancy backgrounds.. ya' kno hehe.. To further polish off ur presentation - perhaps adding a fancy menu with more detailed menu's would do the trick. How about sound effects as well? Anyway, Looking forward to further installments of more advanced commands- maybe the basics of Remote scripts & F key Alias'- good job

Thanks for the tips. I'm well aware of the weaknesses - I just wanted to see if anyone thought this was any good before I wasted too much more time spiffing it up. I'll add the neat little menus and graphics and sound effects and stuff (maybe narration, too) later. Right now, I'm focusing on content. Scripting and aliases are next!

unexpected

Strengths: i found the artwork vibrant with colour, made the drawings look even better... nice introductory reminiscence: can't get enough of it - but it was great how you turned it into a nice action-packed zombie flick hehe: didn't see it coming! the background music fit in nicely with the storyline (or lack of it.. lol'z). Finally, it was also good to hear the featured sound effects & so-called screams of the main characters, haha it was pretty funny

Weaknesses: the gunshot scene needs work - perhaps making the zombie fall on its knees first: and adding more detail into it.. but it's an amusing little short you have here - nice job

a little short.

Strengths: i was totally into the background audio theme! i guess it was the most appropriate considering your efforts to mimic the fighting stunts as depicted in the paramount presentation known as the Matrix.. hhehe. The style was there - the focus transitions were pretty well performed. Gave anticipation for the battle & excitement for the viewers...

Weaknesses: its hard for stick movies to perform generally well when the fighting techniques these stick characters employ are relatively simple.. a storyline would go quite nicely to this flash presentation as well - something other than the matrix perhaps... like an agent? make it lengthier & you want to add more depth & detail into scenes that portray heavy violence as well - Overall, keep at it

good stuff, keep it up!

Strengths: i'm becoming a real big fan of yours.. beginnign to recognise ur works with that trademark preloader hehe. Anyway, the brief storyline offered great humour! its style seemed out of the ordinary, which is pretty good! The drawings were nice - simple & rich with colour. Animation flowed smooth as well.. Finally, the ending was great & unexpected - made me watch it again. keep up with the creative storylines!

Weaknesses: i felt that the visual effects concerning the main character shooting the gun could be improved.. try & make it look better - keep up the good work.

[Emerett vs. Dragon]

nice content

Strengths: you did well to build up tension & anticipation in the opening scenes - the music & animation style was a great introduction to the two lead characters. I also thought the background was a great idea & sort of represented medieval times, which is pretty good.. The music, overall, was suitable because it was action-packed... finally, there was quality illustrations in the drawings: simple style, but not too simple

Weaknesses: sound effects would be good, eg. dragon breathing fire OR knight slicing through the dragons scales.. the addition of visual effects would be enjoyable as well... the ending ended abruptly and not too spectacularly - needs improvement & more detail. Overall, nice submission.. i look forward to seeing more works that are over 2 hours hehe

[Revenge : Not So Sweet?]

Strengths: you have an inventive style going for you in this submission - i liked the whole eyelid openin' & closin'.. what would of made it scarier if it was a 1st person view of the main character holdin' the gun & comitting the crime.. perhaps adding a bit of half-detailed violence.. can never get too much of that heh!1 The drawings are pretty good.. as well as the sequences of events; well thought out - perhaps the author is reflecting a personal experience? You got the music right & spot on... contributed to a sad/grieving setting.. lastly, you did well to dim the brightness in the scene where her Ex gets out of the vehicle, & the last scene gave the viewers something to think about.

weaknesses: this submission was simple & straight to the point.. but if you were to make changes it would be the detail of the drawings - but it's pretty good how it's simple - nice & meaningful flash you have here :-)

First, thanks for the really good review! It helps when people honestly point out faults or weaknesses so I can improve upon them! I'm finding the music held the flash together, and that the different views also add alot to flashes!

It's all a new experience for me, and I'm hoping to make a couple more!

strengths: liked the whole introductory transitions - background info is quite appreciative.. found the engagement between those 2 lock character's enjoyable. It's funny caus' it's true lol'z. The background audio was well thought out & appropriate throughout the duration of the flash.. fast-tempo musikk was mint. Enjoyed the concept of this submission overall... once more, very funny

weaknesses: animation of lock characters was limited. Could be improved with more detailed fighting movements & the addition of visual effects. Eye candy is great for the eyess. Sound effects for the fighting moves & the whole flash would enhance the presentation as well. Good job overall, & happy lock day..

randomness - that's how it done

strengths: submission was relatively pointless & provided absolutely no purposeful insight. At the same time, it was a very enjoyable view. The theme of a 'television surfing' worked well for the presentation. It was funny to see a satirical play at the profile of Hitler with some funky music renditions.. haha. The background music was great & enhanced viewing pleasure as well.

weaknesses: the commedy material was questionable at times.. but maybe becaus' i am slow at getting these things. Some backgrounds almost gave me a seizure, maybe a warning next time? hehe :-) Generally, no complaints. Good submission overall
