the sound is AWESOME!!1 :-)

At first, the file size looked questionably large.. but it was fair, considering all that awesome audio you atempted to compress. Yep- the audio was awesome!!!1 haha Jerry Lawler's voice was the besssst... plz make michael cole's voice jusst as funny in the smackdown installment. And please continue to make the audio (intentionally) 'below par'. Seriously, it makes this submission hilarious. I also liked the introductory scenes you presented- looked very neat & tidy. I didn't mind the graphics all that much- on the contrary, they were done pretty well to me. Simplicity does the trick really.. don't waste too much time on the visuals though; because ur submission has really got something going for it in content-wise & overall funny style & presentation. I think you did the right thing here... breaking it up into 3 scenes. The duration was good- plus, you were able to replay this interactive game which makes gameplay twice as long at the least. People don't realise that longer flash presentations increase flash development time three-fold, although i have little experience in this field though. Great project- Good luck for the efforts you invest in Smackdown!

Thanks for the support, and you're the first person who considers the sound the best part!

on the contrary, could be useful!

likin' the simple interface in ur submission- preloader graphic was pretty appealing too; good stuff! What font is that? it's neat as well. The repeatative loop didn't bother me at all- which surprised me hehe! Could have used this tutorial before my first submission :-( Sure, i could have found out through trial & error but yeh, that consumes a fair bit of time as well (and most people aren't bothered if you have a life outside the internet). There's not really any improvements you could've done- looks alright the way it is. It's a shame to see this tutorial was ur first submission; anyway it would be good to see you follow up with a flash creation and storyline of ur own. good job

an eerie dress-up

The audio was the first thing (heard) in this submission that contributed to an atmosphere of eerieness & 'freakyness'. Nice job with the introductory screen- that picture looks pretty mean! hehe.. Also thought that the credits menu was also done pretty well- it looked very neat! The available options were versatile & oozed with artistic features & details. Interactivity should last for a while, but a good flash project for a 'dress-up genre'

awesomely addicting

you've come a long way from that first 'letters' game you made hehe... yep, i was there!1 this beats its predecusor.. with style !! inventive concepts you have goin' here 4 ya' (there was none in the first edition) NG MODE roxx~. The energy bar is a welcoming edition; so too the background music - it kicks ass mann.. the gameplay environment is engulfed with rich lookin' graphics too- overall, a very addicting & fun submission indeed

awesome update

yep.. it's official, this version is leaner & meaner lookin', has more interactivity and just generally more fun than its predecusor!! i'm totally fallin' in love with the new features.. i've noticed that the instructions are more friendlier in this version - NICE. The visuals are more graphically detailed too, adds to a pleasing playing environment indeed. Enough with the praise, awesome update overall

GameBalance responds:

Hey, thanks! You played 1st version :)

good training~

just what i was looking for 4 my lil' sis~! overall, ur submission has a nice economic file size.. maybe a bit of background audio would enhance its interactivity a little bit- i kno it's meant to be simple but still. I like how some letters were strategically faster, while others remained at a constant, slow pace.. the menu, background & graphics were smooth & neat, in general as well,.. i liked how you hastened (made faster) the speed on increased hits... the addition of LvL ups may be beneficial & give a broader indication of the actual speed, or something. Maybe you could also cleverly spell out funny random words & sentences too hehe- anyway, good project dude

aka timeconsumer!

i kno u did ur best with the instructions but- ya, it was trial & error 4 me... hehe those virus icons were tricky, kept missing'em!1 well... my defective mouse did umm! gameplay was excellent & creative; there was a nice variation of tactics you presnted us with- not too simple, yet not too overwhelmingly diffikult. I suggest that you add a visual indication of level up's. For example, every point increment of 200 will increase the speed of the oncoming viruses. But not in a predictable way, maybe short bursts of rampage & periods of rest.. it's really addictive too. Maybe adding BOSS viruses meh, who knows hehe.. overall, awesome awesome awesome!!

GameBalance responds:

BOSS virusez :) Nice!

i like this

i've already admired ur art in previous works & i'll do so again today. Your drawing style & lettering simulates comic book sketches.. a very beneficial tool for creating mind-blowing flash works - just takes commitment & hungry determination. Perhaps u should start to implement bigger flash projects? That is, if you have an original & fresh concept on ur mind.. that's a biggy. Anyway, ur submission provides funny & light entertainment. It reflects potential as well. The interactivity needs tweening, maybe need to illustrate him responding to regional pain when hit in different places (yes, the groin too hehe..). The options are a nice addition - maybe more weapons & scenario choices in the next version? overall, keep up with the good work

creative

Confusing at first, but a very addictive and creative concept you have constructed here!1 What was that white line that flashed across the screen a couple of times? i kept avoiding it. The levels are a great addition & the life points were a nice invention & contributed to gameplay depth.. The audio is questionable, perhaps something more relevant to the game (and sound effects) would polish this submission. The 'game over' screen is a bit plain & ugly to look at, needs to be black & have a richer background /me thinks.. Interactivity was appropriately sensitive on harder levels - good job Mr author

Mental-Torture responds:

I'll probably make another game soon with sound effects and interactivity and stuff... This game was actually my third attempt, and I finally figured out the actionscript. So my next game should be much better.

As for the white line going across the screen, that was my pathetic attempt to put animation into the game (its supposed to be a shooting star).

Thank you for the great feedback and I hope to use some of your ideas in my next game and or cartoon.

nice update

still retains its simplicity.. yet, there is only so much you can do with a concept that was intently made simple (I may be wrong). It's going to be one of those Final Fantasy sequals hehe.. well, it's worth a shot if you have the spare time! As long as there's no seizure backgrounds... :-) neat work dude

C360 responds:

LOL. Nope, there's a lot of great ideas that people made that can come into play.

Thanks!
